LPR Organics stands out from others because Padma Reddy is the only farmer in India who developed a soapnut variety in 13 acres, 33 years ago, when no one considered adopting soapnut cultivation. The soapnut variety he developed has been registered as a farmer’s variety in New Delhi under the name “Lokasani Padma Reddy Kunkudu,” which is known for its distinctive pineapple flavor and has become a role model for farmers across the country by producing the highest quality soapnut yield. Every day, many farmers from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh visit his farm to learn techniques for cultivating horticultural crops such as Sweet Orange, Lemon, Guava, Papaya, and Amla plantations along with soapnuts.
He is the first farmer in the country to establish a soapnut sapling nursery, providing high-quality saplings to farmers. In December 2024, he was announced for “Millionaire Farmer of India” Award by Government of India, recognizing the best farmers in the country and their outstanding contributions.
He used to sell his raw soapnuts at premium prices due to their uniqueness—having the highest saponin content and being completely organic. Later, in 2025, he decided to add value to his soapnuts under the banner “LPR ORGANICS” by collaborating with a manufacturing firm with 25 years of expertise in herbal product manufacturing. Together, they developed Eco-friendly personal care and domestic products that help protect nature and secure the future.
